Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 October 2026.

At Calendar420 we collect as little data as we possibly can. The website doesn't use cookies, has no third-party advertising and uses neither Google Analytics nor social media pixels. Here we explain what data we process, why, and what rights you have, in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

  • Controller: Global Web Markt, S.L.

  • Tax ID (NIF): B54742531

When you browse the website

Visit statistics. We count how many times each page is visited and how many times a link to an event's official website, its tickets or other organiser links is clicked. So that we don't count the same person twice on the same day, we generate a code from your IP address, your browser and a key that changes every day and is deleted after 48 hours. Your IP address is never stored, and once the key is deleted, that code can't be used to identify you. We also store the country the visit comes from, the language of the page and the date.

Clicks on external links are stored individually for 90 days and after that only as daily totals. Visits are stored only as daily totals.

We also use Plausible Analytics, a cookie-free statistics service that doesn't store personal data and provides only aggregated figures. Its servers are in the European Union.

Server logs. For security and to fix errors, the server records every request, including its IP address, for 14 days. After that, the records are deleted.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used in aggregate form, improving it and protecting it from abuse (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

When you submit an event to us

If you use the "Submit your event" form, we process the event details, the organiser's name if you provide it, your email and the message you write to us. We use them to review the event, publish it if appropriate and contact you if we need to clarify something.

Your email is not published. The event details we publish are public information about the event itself.

Legal basis: your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). You can withdraw it whenever you like by writing to info@calendar420.com.

Retention: while we review your submission and, once it has been reviewed, for 12 months. After that it is deleted automatically.

When you email us

If you write to us at info@calendar420.com, we use your data to reply and to handle whatever you ask of us. We keep messages for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and, after that, for the periods required by law.

Legal basis: your consent when you write to us and, if you are an organiser, managing our relationship with your event.

Cookies

The public website doesn't use cookies or store anything in your browser to track you. We explain this in detail in the cookie policy, linked at the bottom of every page.

Recipients and service providers

We don't sell or hand over your data to third parties. To keep the website running, we work with providers who process data on our behalf, under the contracts required by the GDPR:

  • A hosting provider with servers in the European Union.

  • Cloudflare, for fast and secure delivery of the website and for image storage. Cloudflare processes IP addresses to protect the website against attacks. It is a US company certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and also signs the European Commission's standard contractual clauses with us.

  • Amazon Web Services, for sending emails, from servers in the European Union.

  • Plausible Analytics, for aggregated statistics, with servers in the European Union.

The public texts of events are translated into other languages using artificial intelligence tools. We never send your personal data to those tools.

We will only share data with the authorities when a law requires us to.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time, and withdraw your consent, by writing to info@calendar420.com. Tell us which right you want to exercise; if we have reasonable doubts about your identity, we may ask you to verify it.

If you think we haven't handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Minors

Calendar420 is aimed at an adult audience. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we process data, for example when launching new services such as email alerts, we will update this policy and its update date. If there is any difference between the versions in different languages, the Spanish version prevails.
