I've been in the cannabis industry for over 25 years, and I've watched plenty of events get started, grow and disappear.

The first ones I went to were small local gatherings, almost always run by associations: a few tables, a lot of enthusiasm and people who wanted to change things. But the first big one I remember was Spannabis, in one of its early editions, up on Montjuïc with Barcelona at our feet. That's when I realised this was going to be much more than a hobby.

From a handful of events to hundreds

Today the cannabis and hemp industry is going through one of the best moments in its history, and you can see it in the calendar: trade fairs, cups, congresses, seminars and festivals all over the world, for the public and for professionals.

That's great news, but it brings a new problem: it's now impossible to keep up with everything. You can't go to every event, you hear about many of them late (or never), and keeping track of dates, changes and cancellations is almost a job in itself.

Why Calendar420 exists

Calendar420 was created to solve that. We bring together cannabis and hemp industry events from around the world in one place, and we organise them so you can quickly find what you're looking for: by country, by city, by month or by type of event.

Each listing tells you what you need to know: dates, location, how to get there, tickets, previous editions and the latest news. And we keep it up to date, because an events guide with wrong dates is useless.

Our goal is simple: to be the most complete guide to cannabis events in the world, in your language.

Calendar420 was founded in October 2026 by Toni Mármol, an entrepreneur who has been creating and working with businesses in the cannabis and hemp sector since 2001. He has been part of projects such as La Marihuana, Cannabislandia, Freedom Leaf, Green Lotus Hemp and Oaseeds, among others.
