The event
The Iberian Medical Hemp Symposium is a one-day forum where researchers, companies, professionals and institutional representatives talk things through. It looks at where medical cannabis stands today, what the outlook is and what it could bring to innovation and business, especially in Extremadura.
It's organised by the CTAEX technology centre and the Polo Tecnológico del Cáñamo, with co-funding from the Junta de Extremadura.
The programme mixes talks on Extremadura's positioning as an Iberian hemp hub, science and therapeutic applications, quality analysis and traceability, company experiences and investment. It wraps up with a networking drinks reception.
